Following the success of its inaugural ceremony, which attracted more than 700 nominations, 30,000 public votes and over 600 guests, the Multicultural INSPIRE Awards is back for its second year, launching a nationwide search for the extraordinary people making a difference across the UK.
The search is officially on for the UK's most inspirational people, as nominations open for the 2027 Multicultural INSPIRE Awards.
Following a hugely successful inaugural year, the national awards programme is once again calling on the public to nominate the people and organisations whose work, achievements and impact deserve to be recognised on a national stage.
From those transforming education and business, to individuals making their mark across media and entertainment, sport, health and wellbeing, leadership, equality and diversity, community work and social change, the awards want to uncover inspirational stories from every corner of the UK.
The search will culminate in the second Multicultural INSPIRE Awards, a prestigious ceremony on Saturday 13 February 2027 at The Eastside Rooms, Birmingham.
The inaugural Multicultural INSPIRE Awards demonstrated the appetite for recognising inspirational people across the country, receiving more than 700 nominations and 30,000 public votes, with more than 600 guests attending the glitzy ceremony.
Among those honoured at the inaugural ceremony were Dame Denise Lewis, Moira Stuart CBE, Angie Le Mar and Dr Beverly Lindsay OBE OD DL, alongside inspirational winners from across the UK whose work is creating meaningful change in business, communities and wider society.
Now, the search begins again.
"The response to our first awards was incredible. What really stayed with me wasn't just the numbers, it was the stories. We discovered people doing extraordinary things in businesses, workplaces and communities across the country, many of whom had never received recognition for what they do."
"That is why we are going again. Somewhere in the UK right now is somebody doing something remarkable, and we want to find them."
