Cookie Policy

We use essential cookies to run the site and, with your consent, Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Strictly necessary cookies (always on)

• PHPSESSID — a session identifier used to protect our forms with CSRF tokens and to keep you signed in to the admin area. Expires when you close your browser or after 4 hours of inactivity.
• mia_cookie_pref — records whether you accepted or declined analytics cookies so the banner doesn't reappear. Expires after 1 year.

Analytics cookies (only set if you accept)

If you click Accept on the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate site usage. IP addresses are anonymised. This helps us understand which pages are useful and where visitors need us to improve.

• _ga — distinguishes users. Expires after 2 years.
• _ga_<container-id> — session state used by Google Analytics 4. Expires after 2 years.

Nothing analytics-related loads until you accept. If you click Decline, no analytics cookies are set and no data is sent to Google.

Changing your mind

To withdraw or change your consent, clear the mia_cookie_pref cookie in your browser (or clear site data for inspire-awards.com) and reload — the banner will appear again. You can also block cookies at the browser level. Doing so may prevent form submissions since they rely on the session cookie.

Third-party embeds

The Contact page includes an embedded Google Map. Google may set its own cookies when the map loads. See Google's cookie policy. The homepage may embed YouTube videos when you click to play — opening the video in a new tab lets YouTube set its cookies only if you visit the linked page.
