There’s a season for everything, and in every season, there’s a purpose. Last year, we launched the Inspire Awards with bold intention, but as circumstances evolved, we recognised that pausing would allow us to build a stronger foundation.
While it may have looked like a pause, we used that time to listen, learn, and refine the next phase of this initiative. As one of our advisors reminded us, “Being still isn’t wasted; it’s the opportunity to prepare for what comes next.”
This year, we return with renewed clarity, a revitalized vision, and a more robust model for the Inspire Awards, one that truly champions unsung heroes and catalyses positive change. And this time, we’re moving forward with purpose and precision.
During this process, Dr Tru Powell’s wife wrote a poem inspired by Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, capturing the spirit of this season of reflection and the moments that led to the rebirth of this movement. We’re proud to share it with you below:
